Written Works Submission

Video Submission

How should I submit videos?

Image Quality and Resolution

What are the quality and resolution requirements for images?


  • Submit 6-14 images in JPG or PNG format, with specific size and resolution requirements:

  • Portrait: 8.5 × 11 in, 300 dpi (2550 × 3300 px)

  • Landscape: 17 × 11 in, 300 dpi (5100 × 3300 px)

  • Images must be exclusive, unpublished, and of high quality.


Editing and Cropping


Will my images be edited or cropped?


“Hysteria," "Hysteria By GIRLONFILM," "Hysteria Angels," and "Hysteria Mens” may make editorial adjustments, including cropping or minor edits, for consistency.


Formatting of Manuscript

How should manuscripts be formatted?


Manuscripts should be: 


  • 12-point type

  • Double-spaced

  • Sequentially numbered pages

  • Poetry should be single-spaced. Include your full name, username, and email address on the first page.


Word Count

What are the word count guidelines?


Poetry: Up to ten poems in a single file.


Articles: Minimum of 500 words and a maximum of 5,000 words.

Short films or documentaries should be a minimum of five minutes and up to an hour in length. Ensure they are HD quality (at least 1920 x 1080 resolution) and in the correct format.

Once submitted, they must remain exclusive to these publications.

3. Who owns the submitted material?
